Critters in the Garden

The Critters wanted to take a look to see what was happening in the garden since the 365 Toy Group is celebrating Earth Week. So we went out to see how the Bloodroot plant was doing. I think tomorrow there will be a full-fledged blossom here!

To see how Piggy celebrated Earth Week check out this link:

Why not get outside with your own little muse and join us with a shot or two of your wonderful outdoor world?

It looks so big from their perspective!

I love the reverence for the flower stance! I've learned in the past week that these guys open in the warm sun, then close back up every night. So to see them open, you've got to go look in broad daylight.

@basqgirl @mzzhope Thank you Amy and Hope for the favs!!

@mzzhope Thank you Hope. They are really cute erasers and I could easily collect sooo many more!! lol
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri!
@summerfield Thank you Vikki! Believe it or not we had a quick flurry of snow this morning! That's Spring for you!! But nothing stuck and even though it's on the chilly side, the sun is out and the flurries have completely disappeared. Yay- I am soo done with winter!
@mzbull Thank you Mz!
@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! Oh, they are just staring in wonder- curious little wee things!
@juliac Thank you Julia!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! I didn't even realize it was actually Earth Day. It's probably because I don't need a special day to remember to take care of the planet- haha- I try to be mindful of that all the time!
@nicoleterheide Thank you Nicole! It is not very big- but they are very small!
@francoise Thank you Francoise! Not so much reverence as it is curiosity- inquisitive little things that they are! I was hoping it would open up today (and I did know that about them) but the temperature dropped last night a bit and it's partially cloudy today, so they're still wrapped up tight. So we will have to wait for the next warm day.
@thistle Thank you Joyce!
@salza Thank you Sally! And that will be accompanied by squeals, moos, growls, neighs and trumpets of delight!

@pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula! By the way- you may know the answer to this: I have a pot of Easter Lilies and a pot of Tulips which are past their prime but I don't want to plant them just yet as the squirrels will try to dig them up and eat them. I know you can store bulbs for the winter- is it too early to store these? And how do you do that? Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
