Is It Lunchtime Yet?

I still haven't a lot of free time at the moment for taking new photos, so I will be posting photos taken at the zoo on Boxing Day for the next few days. Hope you enjoy them.

I took this photo from the safari bus and loved how the giraffes were obviously waiting for lunch to arrive.

Still pretty busy at the moment. I am sorting through some of my book collection and having a bit of a cull, then we are going to reorganize our study. That is going to be a big job.

This afternoon though I am making a zucchini slice to take to a friends house tomorrow. About 18 of us are having our first get together of the new year for a picnic lunch and we are each taking something along to eat. I will prepare a Greek salad in the morning to take along too. Should be a good day.

At the Oakland zoo they tie baskets of leaves in the tree branches. The baskets require the giraffes to work at getting the leaves.
