This month Diana @ludwigsdiana has been posting photos of zebras and she has got some great shots. I didn't manage to capture a single one with his head above the ground. All the zebras at the zoo wanted to do was eat the grass.
@ludwigsdiana Indeed. Here they are born brown and white and the brown changes as they get older and eventually, they turn black and white. I just looked at some of your photos and some of yours are brown and white too. The stripes on our zebras are wider though.
Great shot- I guess most animals at the zoo feed on a continual basis. It's not like the wild where they have to keep their eyes open for predators and be on the hunt for food. It's still a good shot though- and this one seems to feeding quite well!
@k9photo Yes, it is quite young and a bit smaller than some of the others on the savannah
