A quick upload as I am off out to the garden centre to see if I can spend my garden vouchers which were a birthday present.
I used textures to get rid of the horrible background but I seem to have made him float. Perhaps he is dreaming on his magic carpet!! LOL!! Any suggestions on how to improve this greatly appreciated!! I have used so many textures here but can't stop him floating!!

I love the idea of putting zoo animals on texture to make them look more natural. But something looks off on this one. Feel we know each other well enough so you wont be upsdet. Think it's the lighting. Maybe the background needed to be lightened before you put it on. or you needed to feather your selection more. But mostly thinking too much contrast in the light on both photos. Maybe an expert will explain.
He's definitely on cloud 9! Adding some shadow might help to reduce the appearance that he's floating. The grass ends before reaching him, so taking it to underneath him might also help. I hope that you can figure something out
He does look like he is floating a bit. How about putting some grass stalks that slightly come up in front of him? And a bit of shadow? Although I'm really not an expert on this.
Definitely floating a little, maybe on the currents of deep sleep. The lion's a good selection, try moving it a bit further down the canvas then feathering the selection a little. If that doesn't work email me.
