Another very hot day here with high humidity. Thankfully they are promising cooler days from tomorrow. I just hope the nights feel more comfortable. I was in the garden in my nighty at 2.30am and it felt wonderful and so much better than inside the house!! I didn't dare stay out too long in case the midges started to bite!!

@maggiemae there was a sea breeze while we were on holiday for the last 2 weeks but we came home last Friday and there is no breeze here just a house that’s like a sauna! Yuk!

Last night was awful again but with a wee bit of rain, I am delighted to wake up to cooler temperatures this morning. Here's to a better night, eh?
@casablanca yes another sticky night! It’s so difficult to sleep isn’t it! Thankfully this morning feels so much better! I was in the garden at 6am filling up my bird feeders really enjoying that freshness I haven’t felt for ages! Let’s hope it lasts!
@pamknowler I have the back door open now and am feeling a cool breeze.........aye me, I had forgotten what one was! Totally agree, hoping it will last. Met Office announced they think the warmth and dryness will last until October.......
