A great drive this morning with hardly any other traffic on the motorways! There was a lot of rain but when we stopped off at Westward Ho! The sun came out. The cottage is as beautiful as we remembered and this afternoon has been sunny although a chilly wind stopped us sitting in the garden! Lovely to see my niece Ruth and to hug each other - how I have missed doing that! Tomorrow afternoon Ruth is bringing the girls down to see us. Well to see Finlay and George I think as they are really excited to be seeing them again.
Weather forecast not good for next few days but who cares when you can get together with family after such a long time!
My eyes thankfully were ok - those eye drops were marvellous!
At first I thought this was in Australia with the flags on the beach. You must have adopted the swim between the flag rules.
