This is the Manager of the Wellingborough Sainsburys sitting in a bath getting gunked for charity. Today is Comic Relief/Red Nose day in the UK when lots of people do funny things for money. The money goes towards the charity which supports sick and homeless people in the UK and Africa. It happens every year and in the evening there is a TV programme where celebrities do funny things or sing/dance for charity. People phone in with their pledges. It is a great fun day with a very serious side.
In Sainsburys today most of the staff were in fancy dress and all doing funny things to raise money.
Millions of pounds will be raised for the charity as always happens every year. Not much seems to change though - we still have children in desperate need in the UK and also in Africa!! It's a sad world!!
That looks totally gross! Good on him for doing this for such a worthwhile cause. Red Nose Day, like Poppo said, has not really caught on in Australia in a big way.
