Dinner time

I am not sure what you call a lot of giraffes - is it a heard? As we drove through the ranger drove quickly past us with the back of his land-rover filled up with branches. He stopped in front of us and threw the branches and leaves onto the ground. Very quickly all the giraffes had made their way over to the food. Lovely to see so many and all different ages. Such fabulous animals!!

So today I have learnt that a herd of giraffes is called a tower!
They are certainly towering beauties.
The taller ones seem to be keeping a watchful look-out while the younger ones enjoy a good lunch :)
