I know the name of this bird as one of my shots had his photo below and his name. I should make a habit of doing that!! LOL!!

Chicago Zoo 2017 again. As we entered this enclosure in the aviary one of these huge birds flew right over my head and his wings brushed my head. A scary moment!! LOL!! Isn't he fabulous - quite prehistoric I think.

I have never seen or heard of him before! This is a beautiful shot - I will have to look him up - he reminds of a scaled down Shoebill Stork! Cool experience (since it turned out well ;-) ).
