Barrow Town Hall by pammyjoy

Barrow Town Hall

For a sleepy little town tucked away down a 35 mile cul-de-sac in northern England, we have a magnificent Town Hall! Built in 1876 from local sandstone and slate, it is described as Gothic Revival style. The clock has been stuck at 3.20 for quite a while now!
It is rather impressive. Shame they put that big lamp post in your way 😜

What a fabulous building. They don't build them like this anymore.

A lovely shot of this very impressive building. Civic Pride demanded that even relatively small councils needed a grand town hall in Victorian times. Fav!
