A scene from the local shipyard at the end of the working day, I don't know the year but I would guess 1940s or 1950s. I can remember the hundreds of bicycles and men crossing the bridge to Barrow at lunchtime and the end of the day. It unfortunately isn't like this now, the times have changed.
