PoliNations festival

Last month Victoria Square was transformed into an Eco garden for two weeks as the final part of the Birmingham 2022 festival.
The large tree structures were rain sails which collected water that ran down the inside of the trunk tubes to use to water the plants.
There were a few art students around and when I looked at what this girl was drawing, she had ignored the structures and was drawing a flower.
Very cool

Haha, what a laugh you must have had. I could have betted a fortune that she was drawing those trees. I like the idea of the trees collecting water for good use.

A lovely shot, and a fascinating back story about the trees and their water collecting job - fav!

The shingles jab is offered to people in the UK in their 70th year when they go to their GP for a flu jab. I'm a year late with mine since we had the flu jab at a pharmacy last year because of the long wait for one at the GP.

@fishers Thanks Ian. He’s got a while to wait for his then as he’s 63.

@pattyblue

If he has problems with shingles it might still be worth asking if it's possible to have it now.
