My Friday people today is Kathy a volunteer fund raiser with Cancer Research UK, selling artificial flowers at the Huddersfield Race for Life last Sunday, she took some persuading, bought some flowers and she agreed to pose, posting early going away tonight for a few days may be out of contact until Tuesday.

Hi Peter I have just had a look at your pictures and I love your portraits! I was wondering, what do you say to the people when you take the photo? Do you tell them about the project and that their picture will be posted online? Do you offer to send them one? I am curious because I have wanted to so it myself, but not had th guts to approach anyone.
@emma78 Well to be honest I have only just started the challenge taking portraits of strangers, I found it very intimidating at first, I generally complement the person on how they look or tell them about the 365 project, another thing once they agree I ask their first name only do not like ask personal questions, you find some are chatty and may ask for a copy, I find it a lot easier to ask ladies and very difficult to ask men, just have a go they can only say no to a lady but as a man I could get a slip but its not happened yet, good luck Emma:)
