Citypark Bradford by pcoulson

Citypark Bradford

The image is just a small part and is a perfect circle of water.
Bradford City Park is a public space, it is centred on the Grade I listed Bradford City Hall area to the far left but not in this shot.
Construction begun in 2011 and was officially opened on 24 March 2012
A lovely modern city space.

Lovely shot and I love the old domed buildings in the background.

@onewing Thank you for your comments Babs, the three domed building in the centre is the Alhambra Theatre still in use today, the single domed building is the Old Odeon Cinema under refurbishment,
The redevelopement work being done is to make the Odeon a state-of-the-art live entertainment building with international stars performing to 4,000 to 5,000 people.
The Odeon can't be knocked down as its a listed building:)

@peterlgrave Thank you for your comments Peter, don't know why lack of people at 10:05 am possibly because this is the entertainment area and not the shopping area. one hour later it was full of kids and people:)
