My Friday people this week is a Chinese tourist on holiday in the UK and she was fascinated by the Swans and Canada Geese at the lakeside. I asked if I could take her photograph photographing the swan explaining why and she agreed, when I asked her name she said just call me Chianti as she loved the wine and her name is unpronounceable in English, she lives in China's largest city Shanghai then pointed to the blue sky and said its always grey in Shanghai.
A lovely and unusual shot - wish I could get down like that for a shot - and get up again easily. (Hooray for articulated screens). I like your text too.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel, I can get down alright its the getting back up that's less than dignified, the thing about this shot was I'd taken it before asking, wasn't sure she could understand English which she could, then she got down quite happily and took another photograph unaware the shot was already in my camera, lol:)
@gilbertwood Thank you for your great comments Denise, was not sure she would be able to understand English, thought this could go very badly wrong if she could not :)
@peterlgrave Thanks for your comments Babs, considering what my knees and legs have gone through over the years(broken and reconstructed once or twice) its amazing I can kneel at all, lol:)
@peterlgrave Thanks Peter for your comments, What Chianti actually said was "we don't have blue clouds in Shanghia the sky is all grey" but I understood what she was saying, it seems all the cities in China are polluted:)
