Love the angle of view - it's really impressive. Love the reflections and the water sprays too. The Town Hall, sorry - City Hall, is looking so very good now.. this image shows the size of the pool/fountain area, very well...

@jorlam Thank you for your interesting comments I was standing on the viewing area over the Pavilion, by the way when the clock tower was built in 1873 the building was called the town hall only change to the City Hall in 1965 so I think we can say we are both correct maybe, lol:)

@pcoulson Peter, i once phoned and asked if there were ever any public tours of the Town Hall. The response could have caused a blooming glacier, it was so cold. i was informed in words of restricted syllables that Bradford is a city therefore it is a City Hall.. I said something along the lines of Manchester being a much larger/more important city with a Town Hall.. the response was a click as the connection was broken. All a piece of nonsense... :-)

@jorlam How rude of them, should have been pleased you showed an interest in the building, your right in calling it city hall I just tend to call all such buildings Town Halls no matter if I'm it a town or city:)

Manchester Town Hall is magnificent, i once spent a morning, exploring and taking photos.. that is what prompted me to ask at Bradford. "Town Hall" comes more easily to the mind/tongue..

@claudiajbee Thank you for your interesting comments Claudia there seems to be something going on all the time in Bradford, after this shot went off to find the railway arches and Fibre Sculpture they are well hidden away ended up having to ask, a parking attendant pointed me straight to them:)

@stray_shooter Thank you Ron, yes the old and new sitting side by side, the pool is at its height is only 12 inches deep normally all the grey stones are covered in water, it was constructed in 2011 as an area to relax around the kids love running through the water in the warm weather full dressed, its funny watching the mums and dads trying to get them out without getting soaked themselves, (must get a shot of them in the summer)
