Noticed this rusting metal frame fixed into the ground at a viewing point overlooking Holmfirth in the high peak area, it would have been rude to pass up the opportunity to include it in the shot.
@quietpurplehaze Thank you for your great comment Hazel not much information about when and why it was put there, on the frame it does state " In partnership with the university of Huddersfield" :)
What a great idea and a lovely capture Peter. Wonder what it would have looked like if you had cut the area outside of the frame out. Just like a framed picture I guess.
Fabulous idea. A couple of years ago at the Sculptures by the Sea in Sydney one of the sculptures was a huge frame similar to this and the view was of Bondi
Excellent Peter.. love it.. such a great overview of a lovely part of West Yorkshire, with the iconic Emley Mast on the horizon.. Btw, i like the space around the frame - it puts it in context..
@terryliv Thank you for your comments Terry they are appreciated, left space around the frame to place it in context, if had I cropped to the frame it would possibly look like I added it in post production:)
@jorlam Thank you for your wonderful comments Jorlam, I tried to get the mast and composition on the third's viewing as a framed picture, with the position of the frame I couldn't just manage it, leaving space around the frame as you noticed just to place it in context:)
Seizing the moment - how could you not grab that shot? I like that you framed it as you did. A frame within a frame within a frame.......where does it end?
