This area was devastated by Hurricane Hazel on October 1954, yet the rebuilt this bridge. One of my favourite geographical structures in Toronto

I had to look this up to be sure. Hurricane Hazel clocked the highest winds ever at the Phila. airport and went on to devastate Toronto. I was a child hiding in our basement near Philadelphia. We lost a huge tree and left me with lasting memories.
