This is our female Cardinal and she and her male are here ever day. Even though our favorite red birds can be a little cranky sometimes, they’re also very sweet birds, and Cardinal couples often seem to be kissing :)

They can also be a little feisty. We've seen the males especially fight at the feeders. We've also seen them when they are courting. The Mr. Cardinal will give Mrs Cardinal a seed. A sign that babies will soon be on the way.
