I'm working on two different projects at work which requires me to work in a different location for each project. It makes the commute to work difficult because I have to remember to bear left or go straight on at the M1 East Midland J24 (M1 south or M42 south west)...I know one day I'm going to be on auto pilot and make the wrong choice !
Anyway this is a shot on my lunchtime walk. My two colleagues / co workers are ahead of me as I dawdle behind taking a few shots with my android phone.
The sky is a little blown out as the android struggles to get the exposure quite right. The bridge takes you over several lanes of the A46.
You can see a lone 'menacing' figure at the end of the bridge ....that's a DBA (data base administrator) on his lunch time walk !
This is a very pretty walk for your lunchtime toddle outside !! I like the bridge with the trees either side but you are right the guy at the end of the bridge does look very menacing, he looks like he is going to stop them going any further ! I can see your dilemma re which project to go to & would cause a few problems turning round again !! How is Ruby we haven't seen her for a while ?
@phil_howcroft Ruby on the Number 58 bus, remember.... I love this pic, Phil! You have some wonderful places to walk! The perspective is interesting, what with the little dude at the end of the bridge. ;p
LOL! You did well with your phone camera! As a friend often told me... "God paints you a picture every day and it's up to you to find it!" DBA's always off by themselves. =)
@meredithwb meredith, i've not forgot the 58 bus !!! but ruby is a bad traveller in vehicles...very bad indeed....so i may have to pass on that shot . thanks for your support
I know what you mean about the journey - when I stopped going to work so work from home I would go on to the A14 to go to various places and always end up turning towards the office - I was constantly having to get off at the next exit and turn round! I like them against the white sky - good and wintery.
Glad to see you are maintaining your lunchtime exercise. Don't forget, scenes that may seem lackluster to you, are very interesting to your international friends.
