Wells Cathedral by phil_sandford

Wells Cathedral

Carole and I spent the day in the City of Wells (or, if you’re a fan of the Frost/Pegg film ‘Hot Fuzz’ then Carole and I spent the day in the town of Sandford.

This is a classic shot of Wells Cathedral, taken in the Bishop’s Palace grounds with the cathedral reflected in one of the wells that gives the city its name.

Weather was not great; sky was that kind of gun-metal grey that gives no definition, so shot in a ‘mode’ on my camera.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Has a 1960's feel to it.

@johnsutton It was a ‘nothing sky’ if you know what I mean - so had to do something.
