Our ‘company’ (see an earlier photo from the week) has been busy today, shooing off other, larger, dragonflies from the poolside. This afternoon, one of the more persistent interlopers was sat atop the fir trees that line the pool. The lace like wings are simply beautiful, with a kind of decoration on their leading edges.
Makes a change from a sunset.
