Continuing my ongoing project, another shot of my back garden, one month on from the last one.
Cool Autumnal morning today, cloudy but with the forecast for brighter weather later (though Carole and I had decided to drive to Leicestershire and Bradgate park as we hoped to have a few dates with the resident Deer) .
The lawn is still a mess from the Summer; much of the devastation is covered by the leaves from the two Maples. Some of the Dahlias remain in flower, others have gone over and some, sadly did nothing. Hey ho.
The fence at the back of the photograph will be replaced this week; I cut down the Honeysuckle with the replacement hedge trimmer (taking far more care not to electrocute myself again)
Thank you for your continued interest in my garden/yard
All of the previous photographs are tagged philsgarden and if you wish to see it change through the months (obviously only if you feel that way inclined and have nothing better to do) then click on that tag.
Amazing how the garden changes from month to month , now its time for the big tidying up and putting the garden to bed . I am sure your lawn will recover by next Spring -- I have reseeded a few patches on one of my lawns and amazingly the new grass is coming along well !
A very typical autumn garden. I think it’s much drier where you are than it is here in Herefordshire. Our grass is very green and lush and it won’t stop growing, much to Chris’ dismay.

I missed the story about you getting electrocuted. Glad you survived.
