Drinking From History

We have a new carpet being fitted tomorrow in the dining room so we’re emptying the shrank before moving it out of the room.

Pretty certain the glass was ‘acquired’ during Grunéwocké and the Stein from the Spandau Citadel back in the 1980s before the Wall fell.

I’ve been advised since, by Carole, that I left the Citadel with a ceramic stein, which probably means I acquired the glass one from the pub opposite the NAAFI on Theodor Heutz Platz.

In my defence, I was in my twenties at the time and very probably inebriated.

I never thought that an empty Beer glass and empty Beer Stein could make me smile. LOL. Great shot, Phil-love it!
