The hotel complex had a celebration last night - mid-summer and a celebration of a local saint by the way of a pool party culminating in fireworks at midnight. I certainly wasn’t up for it and neither was Carole so we headed back to our room before it began in earnest.
The complex had been decorated with new lights and the main thoroughfare from the rear gate was lit by oil lamps .....
