This is an unusual Dahlia, pretty sure it's one of the new ones that I bought in the spring as I don't recall it from previous years. It's quite large and on long spindly stalks but is holding up well to the multitude of storms sweeping in from the Atlantic. Thankfully we live on the Eastern side of the UK so they've pretty much run their course when they get to us (that said, the rain is absolutely biblical).
