Almost mid-October and we still have Dahlias coming into flower (I guess they're in for a huge shock when the first frosts arive (which won't be too long I fear))
My Dahlias have been pretty good this year; certainly compared to the Summer of last year where the drought saw off many of them flowers in the garden. I'm planning on lifting them this year and having them over-Winter in the garage.
This is lovely. Your Dahlias have been dreamy this year. Our weather has been so erratic our flowers have all gone into shock. 30 degrees F. one day, 80 the next.
@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann. They’re up there as one of my favourite plants and yes, this year has been pretty good. Your weather sounds a bit like ours was last year (but we didn’t get that swing)
