It was about this time when the sparrowhawk realised I was taking photographs of him through the kitchen window; he did not hang around for long. The smaller Passerine birds were back within a couple of minutes of his departure.
He really is a magnificent specimen; at the very top of the raptor tree and certainly here in Lincolnshire that is very true.
