Introducing ‘Tedward’

Carole has had this Teddy Bear as long as I’ve known her, and that is since April 1982, but she’s owned him for far longer than that. He is, actually, owned by her elder brother, Mick, so I’m not exactly sure how come he’s now living on the wicker chair in our bedroom.

He looks very tired and battered, He’s lost his eyes, is patched on the front of his cheat and looks rather moth-eaten (hopefully he’s not) and threadbare, but he’s Carole’s ‘Tedward’ and she loves him.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.

He’s wonderful. Oh the stories he could tell. Carole could write a book of his tales and illustrate it with pictures of him.

He is well loved and his name is so good. I think Pooh Bear had some influence!

How sweet. He looks like he has been through a war, but he was just taking care of his girl for you.

They could indeed Phil. My old Ted has had a couple of major operations too, but my childhood stitching wasn’t very neat 😂
