I’ve known for years that we have a resident Wren in the garden. Occasionally you see a flit of movement on the fence, a dart of movement in the border, but today I caught movement in the Hebe that is below the Sunflower Heart feeder. As I’ve said before, the Goldfinches weigh each seed for quality in their beaks, they don’t like them, they simply drop them (hence the sunflowers we’ve had grow this summer)
I’ve seen birds in the Hebe rummaging for the hearts discarded by the Goldfinches for sometime and focussing the camera on the bush, I was surprised to see Jenny Wren pop out for long enough to capture.
Thank you for your continued interaction with my project. Very much appreciated.
Wonderful that she managed to stay still for a quick photo shoot !! I love this little bird - I have one in my garden too -- I only see her on rare occasions !
