Happy Halloween by phil_sandford

Happy Halloween

We didn’t play at this as kids. It’s something that’s come across the Pond in the last 20 years or so. This year it’s very subdued; our village has laid a trail, they bagged up sweets after they’d been quarantined for 48 hours and houses put out decorations. We have a couple of lit pumpkins in the windows, but the door has been silent.

Strange and somewhat sad world.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Happy Halloween!

He’s a great Jack O’Lantern. We have made plans with three families with small children to bring their children by.

I like this; very nice dof. I agree, strange and sad Halloween this year. We’ve opted to not give out candy even though trick-or-treating is still allowed. Unfortunately, Covid cases are on the rise here and I think its best to not have children coming to the door...

Halloween wasn't celebrated when I was a child, but now it's becoming more popular every year.
