Grand Old Lady by phil_sandford

Grand Old Lady

Lincoln Cathedral, construction commenced in 1072 and continued through the Middle Ages until its completion, circa 1311, when allegedly it was the highest building in the world with the completion of its central spire at 160m and it held that until the spire collapsed in 1548.

I suppose it’s easy to take its beauty for granted because we see this most days, even if from afar! But it’s certainly impressive!
