The Log House

Not to be confused with a log cabin because they are built differently. This house was built in 1840 by David Shull for his wife. The drip line on the bottom of the logs allow the house to shed water, protecting the wood from the deteriorating effects of water on logs. This house now belongs to the Gahanna Historical Society and has been restored to it's former glory.
