Today's June Word was weather, and I wasn't sure how to work that into my daily photo... Mostly, our weather right now is way too hot as far as most people around here are concerned! We're under a heat dome, hitting into the 30s every day, feeling like high 30s or even into the 40s with the humidity factored in. Also, sometimes it's rainy.
When it started raining tonight, it was steady but relatively gentle and most people who were out at the time seemed not to react at all-- just continued on walking/cycling casually, didn't call children in, let the dogs they were walking take their time, etc. This little boy was one a few neighbourhood kids being allowed to keep playing in the rain, though I guess Mum didn't want to get wet while supervising! He ran outside of the area where he was supposed to be and she quickly came to guide him back. It's unfortunate that the hydro bananas got in the way, but I thought the picture conveyed "hot and somewhat rainy" anyway!
