I've had a sick day today (just chronic illness stuff) and it was late at night when I looked at the discussion forum while trying to figure out what I was ever going to photograph today. I saw that the new MFPIAC theme is Vintage-- and since I tend to like vintage things and have them around, that seemed perfect! I may or may not do more vintage themed collages while this round of MFPIAC is happening, but for now here's one of some vintage rings.
The big one is my engagement ring-- I may be biased but I think it's the prettiest one. Unfortunately it's also the hardest to photograph! Its setting and small stone are vintage, though it's main stone isn't, it's just cut in an old style.
The bottom three are all ones that my father bought for my mother once upon a time, but as she passed away when I was so young, they've been mine for most of my life now.
