Iron lace pergola at MONA

It was really tricky to get this awesome structure photographed. In the end, I think despite the beautiful rust colour, B&W worked the best.
I was trying to play off the juxtaposition with the gum trees and town in the back ground.
A spectacular pergola, love the intricate detail in the lace work. Looks great in B&W :)

the juxtaposition against the town is interesting, and the structure almost appears like a pen and ink drawing when presented in black and white.
