Carpet of blue

I've hunted the internet and concluded that this beautiful carpet of blue is a Commelina or sadly, native wandering jew - and edible if you ever get stuck!
Never the less it presented a beautiful carpet of blue in low lying swampy areas.
NB this is back on holidays in Northern Australia

Its a great ground cover but stupendously hard to get rid of! Looks nice here though!
