recover the dyke

Dykes are yust so common to us we normely don`t take attention for it, only when things go wrong.We have 3 kinds ,to protect us for the the sea, for the river and for impoldering the coast and lakes.This is a sea-dyke
Why this pic. Last year this dyke was onder construction to fortify them.
And see, 10 months later, nature take his place again.
