Winter- flower. As soon as snow has gone plants and flowers will come to tell you summer is coming. This is the flower of a Helleborus niger one of the first. In our country we call them : Kerstroos (Christmas roses) , because you can buy these round Christmas -time. Now they are plenty on sale on the flowermarkets
Oh, how lovely! We can grow Christmas roses here. However, I have no luck growing them. They are NOT at our flower markets. Alas. Thank you for the promise of spring, as shown in this photo.
