To some of my followers I`ve mention I did make ship models in the past. This is the last one I`ve made , a model of a French galley . The pic aren`t to good I `ve problems with the camera . In a collage it will do. I `ve stopped because I`ve made several ships and chance interest. ( and I don`t want to do projects that cost that many hours/years anymore ) Don`t tell me how good ,or not, I`m the man that made the real one they are the one I admire
Pyrhulla, this is so beautiful. It is very demanding and takes great talent to make these. I think you did a fabulous job both in creating the miniature and in showing it to us! Well done! Very special work.
What a wonderful talent..I can imagine that to built something this precise it takes a lot of time and patience. they are so beautiful and you presented them in a very nice collage. this is a fav. Pyrrhula.
thank you for posting this wonderful picture of your art.
Looks awesome to me. I don't think I'd have the skills or patience to make something like that. (Putting together a 4,000 piece jigsaw is my limit.) Beautiful shots, Pyrrhula, thank you for sharing with us!
Terrific hobby, Pyrrhula. Those galleys are like those the Knights of St John became famous with in the Mediterranean before the age of the galleon. There are some models in the Maritime Museum. You are a great craftsman.
AGAIN...WOW! Over the summer/fall we go to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia (Canada) which has its roots as a small fishing village. It's been amazing to see boats built and The Bluenose refurbished. In the Fisheries museum there, I also enjoy the beautiful ship models. Again, you've been blessed with a remarkable talent for craftsmanship!
