What this is ? a Travalje . I don`t know of it is really Dutch or just a local name. It was use for to stable/tie up horses when the blacksmith give them new horse shoes . This one was build in +/-1890 , not in use any more.

Very interesting never seen them for the blacksmith to tie up the horses but see something similar on horse pastures for the horses to find shelter from the sun or rain. ..gret looking collage.

Nice that they've keep it up to remind people of the past. It does provide nice shade, too. Love the roof!
