In an other greenhouse ,in this one there are growing peppers. ( and only peppers)
This pic. shows only the end of the chain. The grow and harvest.
There is a lot done before they are allowed to grow here. The seeds ( plants ) are selected and refine
(ennoble ?) on many quality requirements so they harvest the best quality on the highers standards and greatest harvest to lowest cost. Nearly year round.
Wow! I tried growing some yellow pepper in ,Virginia and my daughter in Vermont tried some green ones, all we got was some 12 inch plants with just leaves and No blossoms and of course No peppers, looking at these plants , I am ashamed to say I even tried"..........guess I just don't know the secret!
A lovely collage and specially like the perspective of the main shot leading the eye down the greenhouse. When we buy a bag of peppers in our supermarket, the red ones and the yellow ones are from Holland and the green ones from England! We use loads of them in cooking, mainly Neil, our son, uses them in stir fries but we also need them for roasted veg. and sometimes for salad. (Sorry, always talking about food!)
Those greenhouses must keep the gardeners very busy with all the different fruits! :)
(refine is the correct word in your caption - ennoble would refer to a person being given a knighthood or other honour).
