Pink by pyrrhula

Pink

Those Cyclamen I`ve pic. before but the theme is pink and I like to show ( by my finger ) how little they are. They`ve survive frozen to minus 5 degree Celc.( 23 F. ) and snow. I started with 3 plants and they seeded out. Every year there are more of them With the Galantus nivalis this are the first flowers in winter/spring
Wish you all a great weekend.
Thank you for you beautiful pic.`s this week, you nice comments and the fav.`s.

You have a green thumbs..that's a saying when you are good with plants. surprised that they can stand minus 5 degree celsius. wouldn't do any good here as we go way below that at night during the winter months. I love them..they are one of my favorite flowers.

Lovely shot. You definitely have a green thumb! I became excited when I heard that cyclamens could withstand 5 degrees Celsius. Then I realized that we use Fahrenheit here. I will just have to grow the cyclamen as a house plant.

Your Cyclamens are beautiful, Pyrrhula. Lovely shot of them. It's so nice to see them growing outside like that. My cyclamen plant brightens up my winter sitting on my window sill

Wow they are VERY tough, but I don't think they would like 4 feet of snow on top, hope spring arrive soon there, I love your flowers

In Texas I have only noticed them as potted plants. I had no idea they were so sturdy! Thank you for lending us your finger for perspective.

Love this! I received one of these for Valentine's Day and like @nana2r , I've only seen them potted. I wonder what would happen if I planted outside? I love these because the them stem is facing down and the petals grow up.

So far this winter I don't think we've gone below 23 F. But I'm not sure. I would love to see if we could get them to grow here. Beautiful photo and I love your finger as a guide to their petite size!
