Lantana by pyrrhula

Lantana

This flower/ bushes/tree don`t survive our winter. So you`ve to take it in a hot house or in an old fashion glass building the : ``Orangerie ``. We have a long tradition to do so .
Beautiful vibrant shoot! We have these too and they won't survive our winters either.

Those plants grow to big bushes and everywhere in Malta, Pyrrhula. I have one with pink and yellow flowers and at present it is full of blooms. I have tried to sow cutting of a yellow variety but have been unsuccessful.

Beautiful capture of the lovely colours. I think I saw some pink and yellow flowers like this in a neighbour's garden. Do people grow oranges in the orangery, or is it just a name from the past?
