City wall and towers of the town Leerdam

Yesterday`s pic. was taken from the first tower on top of this city wall to the second.
Leerdam is well know of his glass factory ( and glass gallery`s ) that`s quite famous in Holland .

@aglennc Then the whole city was a fort. In those days the whole city was surrounded by a wall and a moat. Not much of it remains
