Onions, onions and onions again. From the left to the right , from the front to the horizon, onion fields . You may think I live in a boring country. Gladly we have potato`s , corn . beets and beaches too.
Lovely landscape, definitely not boring!
Are there any festivals, processions or other events in your area/the islands in September, Ferry? I know of one called Flaeijelfeest in Nieuwhorne on September 28th. We are thinking of visiting The Netherlands some time in September, after 9th September. :)
We eat loads of sin our house but I don't know where they are grown. Next time in the supermarket I shall look at the label on the packet to see if they are from Holland!
Nice collection of pics - you'll certainly never be short of onions!
How could your country be boring with so many beautiful fields, plants, buildings and people? :)
Onions as far as your eyes can see. we have a little bid of Holland here where the early Dutch people settled. it's calls the Holland Marsh with rich soil. once in awhile Hans and I drive through it and try to make out what everything is that they grow there.
