I`m living on the border of a small city Goes. Less then 1 km.( 1/2 mile) of of our house there is the old dike ( build in 1313) In 1812 there was a new impolder and reclaim the land from the sea . This is become the Wilhelmina polder. Surface area : 1700 hectare (ha). 1 ha = 2.47 acres . 1400 ha is use for agriculture . 36 ha is wood and 56 ha meadow. The whole area is a big farm explored by a one company.
