Often when I take this pic.s of the fields I ask the owner his permission and the name and destination of the flower (S)he grow. In this case there was n`t one so I`ve to figure it out myself. To my best knowledge I came to Petunia flowers. I too wander why grows a field of it, here.
Wonderful , It does look very much like a Petunia -- I have a very similar coloured one growing in my window box this year I must take a photo of it !! I wonder do they grow them for their seeds to sell for a seed company ?
Another gorgeous shot of this field full of flowers - petunias this time. To my mind petunia flowers wither quite quickly and I don't think they make good cut flowers.
