Driving trough this island (a part of the region I live in) we found this fields with Gladiolus flowers . A bonus for a photographer.
For a farmer there is not a lot of different if he grow crops or flowers. Soon the flowers will be cut off and they harvest the bulbs
Beautiful. We don't see fields of the same kind of flowers around here, but when anyone wants to order bulbs there is a good chance they come from Holland.
Fav. Stunning sight. To the farmers it is the money that counts - and very correct after all the work they go through sowing/planting and taking all that care for a good crop.
