The area where I live once was highly dependent on mills of all kinds. This could be a photo of one of the towns that was home to one or more of the mills. Many of the city streets were lined like this with homes that look very similar and built close to one another as the mills grew and took on more employees. Is this a similar situation of homes for people are involved with the field in the foreground?
